When Molly and Milo arrived at the party, which was held in a large ballroom, they gasped. The decorators had looped strings of lights from the ceiling, there were flowers and candles at every table, with a stage at one end of the room for the orchestra, and a space cleared for dancing after dinner. "It looks like a fairyland!" Molly exclaimed. When dinner started, Molly and Milo found themselves at a table with Mr.Abott Clains, a very rich man and his wife. Thanks to their books on how to be fashionable and cool, they were quite at ease with the Clainses. After dinner, Molly and Milo found themselves caught up in the flurry of dancing. All the most fashionable young men wanted to dance with Molly and Milo did not have a lack of ladies to dance with!! But after the party was over, they decided that being themselves, not trying to be too fashionable and cool, was better.
